Unusual Projects

One time, my student Amalia Ainslie Davidson came to me in a creative process class saying she'd seen a door in an alley way and it was calling her name. She wanted to do something with this stray, abandoned door. She inquired, and it did not belong to anyone, so she took the door home and began to create on it, writing and painting and collaging it into this wonderful final project.
