Art Books by Former Students

Here a few art books created by former students in creative process and graphic narrative courses.

First an Art Book by artist Andréa Acker created in a Creativity and Memoir course. She used a found coloring book as her base material. Otherwise she used collage, thread and needlepoint, beads, glitter, paint. Andréa is an artist in Brazil and you can find more of her amazing work on her website here.

Below a dos-à-dos book by Jared Brown. One side depicts his wounding relationship with organized religion, the other his healing relationship with nature and spirituality. The book opens like wings in two directions.

Here an exquisite art book by Jenny Sammons. Jenny used a journal she already had, collage, painting, and poetry. Jenny is a musician, jewelry designer, and artist. You can find more of Jenny’s work on her website here.
